Lower Floor - Villa Kas di Sono

When entering the villa, you will come in the living room first. A comfortable couch, nice and trendy furniture and lights, combined with the tropical colors inside the house, will give you a warm welcome. There is TV (satellite) with about 60 channels, among them the majority of the US channels. There is also a DVD-player, suitable for all regions so just bring your favorite DVD and play it whenever you like.

And coming during Christmas time? Of course we will provide a large Christmas tree, though the snow will not be available this year...

From the living room there are two doors leading to the porch/terrace in the backyard of the villa. You can enjoy the morning sun over there but during the day you will find a lots of shade as the sun turns around the villa. You can relax there, feel the trade wind or just watch the beautiful nature in front of you.

Adjacent to the living area, there is the dining area (though most of the time you will dine outside on the large terrace). From here you can walk to the terrace and have a wide view over the Spanish Waters and Table Mountain or go to the large kitchen.

The kitchen is very trendy in its colors, giving you all the comfort you are used to at home. The cooking is in the center on a ‘cooking island’ , further you will appreciate the new appliances such as a dishwasher, a refrigerator with two doors and a ice dispenser, a blender, coffee machine and toaster. A double sink with hot water (not very common on Curacao) makes the cooking as easy as home.

On this floor you will find a spacious bedroom with its own bathroom. A bathroom ‘European style’ (= toilet only) is also available. This bedroom has two doors opening tot the large terrace, has new (2006-) bedding (box spring type, all 90 x 200 cm/36 x 80 inch; beds are placed next to each other to form a king bed), and a silent air conditioner with remote control. The beds are ready to sleep on when you arrive.

A phone is available in the villa allowing incoming calls free of charge and for outgoing calls you can use a pre-paid card or use your cellular phone which, in most cases, works perfectly on Curaçao.
The use of a DSL-internet connection is free of charge and there is no limit in using the internet. Just bring your laptop.

For your convenience there is also a washer you can use freely. Just buy the detergent of your choice. But this is for your personal belongings only as our caretaker will refresh linens and towels every week.

For your safety (though the Jan Sofat area is among the safest on the island) the villa is secured by an alarm system; our caretaker will explain how it works.

From the living room a stairway leads to the first floor where the other 3 bedrooms are located.
