Nevertheless all the major tourist attractions of the island are close by: the well known Sea Aquarium
historical downtown of Willemstad (Unesco World Heritage site), with its many shops, restaurants, waterfront terraces and the famous ‘floating market’.
For a wonderful dinner you will always find a restaurant of your choice and budget as Curaçao is really cheap for dining out,
even the best classified restaurant will not disturb your wallet… You will find every kind of cuisine from all over the world,
ranging from French, Thai, Indonesian or the local Krioyo kitchen. Really at short distance of the villa you will find the
very nice restaurants called 'Boathouse', 'Sarifundi’s', or 'de Kleine Wereld'. All of them waterfront.
Less known but well worth a visit are the
Hato caves
and the Ostrich Farm, a real piece of Africa just on Curaçao. You will love the
dishes they serve in their restaurant!

Many famous beaches
are nearby: Jan Thiel, Caracas Bay and the beautiful Spanish Waters can be reached within minutes. If you decide to visit the more
cozy and quiet beaches of the central and western part of Curaçao, a beautiful 35-45 minutes drive leads you to the best beaches,
dive- and snorkeling spots in the South Caribbean. And if you want to see something special, take your time to visit the
National Parks of
Shete Boka and
Christoffelpark.
Shete Boka (Papiamentu for ‘Seven Inlets’) is a strip of the north coast where the powerful north east trade winds offer spectacular views in what it
does on the edge of water and land. And for the lovers of ‘natural bridges’: where the one on Aruba collapsed in 2006, Curaçao has till two...
one of them in this part of the island (the other one, less known, is near Playa Canoa, on the north east side of the island, also close to the villa).
In the Christoffel Park you will view beautiful landscapes but there is more: you will taste the history of Curaçao of the last
400 years, where slavery and Dutch colonialism formed customs, scenery and the way of today’s living. We have a very special
arrangement here, known as the ‘Chrisftoffel Diner Experience’. Just ask when booking, it is only offered to a small range of
guests and limited in availability.
Shopping is not far away from the villa. Within about 10-15 minutes there are 3 large supermarkets (among them the
leading Dutch supermarket ‘Albert Heijn’), smaller supermarkets and other shops are within 5 minutes.
You can buy a wide range of American and European products at very reasonable prices, which are among the cheapest in the
Caribbean. So, if you decide to stay at home and make your own dinner, you won’t be disappointed.
The villa itself is on a lot of 735 sq. meters (which is about 8.000 sq. feet) and it has a fenced garden with a lockable gate.
From the porches (terraces) and the pool deck you have a wonderful view over the whole area, such as the Spanish Waters and
the ‘Tafelberg’ (= ‘Table Mountain’). Because the villa is built on a elevated spot, you will always have the
comfort of the gently breezing trade wind.
The villa has two floors and a built surface of about 250 sq. meters (about 2750 sq. feet) and, therefore, is very spacious. It
has 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and a private pool (4,5 x 9 meters, 14 x 30 feet, with several depths and a wide stairway to enter
the pool). Around the pool and on the other terraces there are many relaxing chairs and sun beds to choose from.
Maximum capacity of the villa is 10 people and an additional child in a crib.
As the name ‘Kas di Sono’ is Papiamentu for ‘House of Dreams’ you can expect dreaming while you enjoy your drink
on the pool deck or when sleeping in one of the very comfortable beds.
We love to welcome you and your family and/or friends in the House of Dreams!
Or, to say it in Papiamentu: "Bonbini na Kas di Sono!"
