Garden & Pool Area - Villa Kas di Sono

On Curaçao the majority of your stay will be spend outside. That is the reason why the outside areas are just as important as the inside areas. A lot of attention has been made to the garden, pool area and the furniture outside. You will notice the difference with many other vacation homes as soon as you arrive!

You notice this already when entering the neighborhood of Jan Sofat: the security is firm and only residents and guests are allowed to enter the area, which makes you feel very comfortable and safe at once.

After opening the lockable gate you leave your car just steps from the villa and the pool. There is enough space for 3 cars to park within the premises, which is very comfortable when your party exists of more people and cars. As the lot and garden has a fence, you will have the feeling it is a real villa ‘of your own’ from the very start.

Central point in the garden area is the private pool (which measures 4,5 x 9 meters, about 15 x 30 feet), which is shallow at one part (0,60 cm, 2 feet) and ends deeper (2,20 meters, about 7,5 feet) at the end. A wide stairway allowing you an easy entrance but you can also sit and relax on one of the steps of the stair and read a book or so. Just dreaming this house should be yours!

From the pool and the pool deck you have a wonderful view.
Water temperatures range from 28 to 32 degrees Celsius (which is 84-90 degrees Fahrenheit) year round and for the maintenance of the pool is taken care for.

On the pool deck there are many sitting areas with sun beds, chairs and tables for all of the guests. Most of the furniture outside is made of high quality wood.

The covered porch adjacent to the kitchen area hosts a large dining table, enough chairs (with cushions to have a comfortable time) which allows you to have a great time while dining, drinking a local beer or just enjoy the beautiful view.

Between the porch area there is a safe fence; this prevents children walking unattended to the pool area and it gives you a safe feeling that nothing unexpected can happen with the kids. For more facilities concerning the stay of your children, just visit the page ‘Your kids’.

As the garden has more than one sitting area, you will always find a nice play to relax without being far away from the pool or the other people in your party.

Finally (last but certainly not least!) a concrete BBQ makes it easy to prepare the meat or fish of your choice. Curaçao is well known for its wide availability of good and cheap bbq-dishes! Getting warm when preparing your meal? Don’t worry, the pool is only 3 steps away from the BBQ!
